A individual charged with stalking Kate McCann reportedly deposited her a voicemail message which questioned: "imagine I am Madeleine?"

Julia Wandelt, 24, who witnesses stated has consistently declared she was the vanished Madeleine McCann, and Karen Spragg are facing charges accused with pursuing Kate and Gerry McCann between June 2022 and February the current year.

One voicemail, played in court, recorded Ms Wandelt declaring: "I know I'm heavy and plain like Madeleine had been, but I know what I feel."

While another instance of Ms Wandelt's recordings with Mrs McCann's recording stated: "Imagine there is a small chance that I am she? What then? Wouldn't that be crucial for you?"

"I do not need money, I have a living here in Poland, I just want to know," the message continued.

The jury was informed that by means of electronic messages, SMS messages and communications, Ms Wandelt asked for a DNA test, transmitted childhood photos to her phone in a attempt to demonstrate a resemblance to Mrs McCann's vanished daughter, and claimed to have "memories" from a youth with the McCanns.

Robert Jones, a data specialist with the police force who gathered the information, informed the court there "showed no any answers" from Mrs McCann.

Ms Wandelt furthermore contacted acquaintances of the McCanns, based on the communication logs.

On that date, Gerry McCann answered a call from Ms Wandelt to his wife's phone, declaring she had "the wrong phone."
